Frequently Asked Questions by Applicants

I. APPLICATION PROCESS

Please send us your complete application documents right away. A cover letter that hits a punch and a convincing resume are the first step. We are also interested in your education, university, internship and work references as well as samples of your work or a brief description of your previous professional activities. We expect your application via e-mail. Attachments should be no larger than 3 MB.

Send us an individual application that shows us that you are interested in us and our topics. As communication enthusiasts, we appreciate really good and convincing texts. Show us that your heart beats for communication and details as much as ours does.

After your application reached our inbox, you will get a confirmation e-mail, so that you know we’ve received it. Besides our daily workload, an application round ties up considerable resources in the agency. Therefore, we ask you to refrain from actively asking about the status of the application round. We make every effort to keep all applicants adequately informed about the progress of the round.

If we cannot consider your application any further, you will receive a rejection e-mail from us. We cannot give any reasons at this stage. We hope you will understand.

As a rule, we conduct interviews with applicants in at least two stages. In a first interview, we give both sides an opportunity to get a first impression of each other.
In a second interview, we call in other employees from the circle of your possible colleagues. It is important to us to get a personal impression of you and to make sure that you are a good fit for us! Likewise, we want to give you the opportunity to get to know us and to be able to assess exactly what you are getting into.

II. Onboarding

Welcome to the team! We are happy that you are supporting us and would like to help you find your way into the team as fast as possible. You will be assigned a colleague as a contact person who will help you to get around. This starts with small things such as: Where is the coffee machine? (Very important 😉) But you will also be shown things like our folder structure and filing system. You’ll get an overview of our customers and the projects you’ll be working on. In the first few days you will learn a lot of new things – don’t worry, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
We think one learns best when trying things out for yourself. That’s why we show you our work processes and then let you do it yourself. In the meantime, we’ll look over your shoulder, you can ask questions and we’ll tell you all the tricks of the trade that come with each job.

In general, always the person who is your personal contact. We don’t bite, so you are always welcome to approach us with your concerns. Our work culture is very open, so everyone tries to take the time to answer your questions. Especially when it comes to specific projects, each of us has their own expertise. That’s why we like to work across locations and keep in touch with colleagues on the other side of the river. The common exchange is not only important for creative input, but also for our own well-being.
If you don’t want to ask directly, we also have detailed manuals for most of our customers, which provide you with important information.

As communication professionals, regular communication is naturally very important to us. In the office, the next conversation is only a desk-length away. The coffee kitchen is our social hub, where we talk about the day and exercise our abs by laughing regularly.
In itself, the agency can be compared to a large family. With us, everything runs according to the motto: Everything can, nothing must. Fancy an after-work drink by the water? No problem, grab the colleague next to you and off you go. Do you prefer to work quietly and independently today? That’s fine, too.
It’s important to us that everyone feels comfortable and valued. That’s why we give you the freedom to develop personally and professionally and to take on responsibility when you’re ready. We are with you every step of the way.

Clear and structured project management is very important to us. Not only to deliver optimal results for our customers, but also because structured work gives our brains the freedom to be creative. That’s why we get every employee on board in a two-part workshop on project management.

For each project, it is also important that everyone contributes with their own expertise. In creative meetings we want you to have the courage to share your ideas with us. We will always take your suggestions seriously and discuss them together. This is the only way to achieve really good results.

III. Team Crossrelations

Good consulting is almost always the result of good teamwork. That’s why, beyond individual expertise, the team factor always has the highest priority for us.
Of course, you need to be able to work under pressure, have commitment and passion, which are indispensable for communication tasks.

Last but not least, you need a pinch of adventurous spirit for our annual joint activities: In summer and winter, we get together at one of the locations to shape the future of the agency in joint workshops and spend valuable time together at a Christmas party or an agency outing. Whether it’s water skiing, wine hiking or alpacas, there’s always something going on with us 😉

We are very interested in getting the best out of each of our employees. That’s why we give you more responsibility bit by bit when you’re ready. This makes our work better and you more satisfied and self-confident. And these are qualities that are needed in our profession.

First of all, everyone learns from everyone else. And that on a daily basis. We keep up to date with the latest developments in the industry and the world through internal channels. We are very grateful for that.
But you can also continue your professional development with us through internal workshops and training courses.
