SUSTAINABLE LITHIUM EXTRACTION IN CHILE
Lithium is a key raw material for electric mobility – and at the same time the subject of intense public debate about environmental impacts, water resources and corporate responsibility.
For many years, crossrelations has supported the Chilean company SQM in communicating its lithium operations in Europe. Our work focuses on providing factual context for complex issues surrounding lithium extraction in the Salar de Atacama, engaging with the media and relevant stakeholders, and communicating sustainability strategies and technological developments.
With the establishment of NovaAndino Litio, the joint venture between SQM and Codelco, Chilean lithium operations have been transferred into a new corporate structure. crossrelations continues to support communications under the new corporate identity and manages the German-language media service.
